      Generating User IDs

      This gives an overview of the two ways to generate User IDs.

      1. Randomly generated string that is saved to the publisher's domain via a cookie. This is detailed here.
      2. An anonymized ID can be passed to IRIS.TV through the "user_id" plugin option. This is detailed here.
