      Freewheel: Passing Contextual Data

      This page details an example of how Freewheel can be used to pass contextual data.

      Publishers can pass the "iris_context" and "iris_id" values into the FreeWheel ad server as outlined below.

      Passing the IRIS_CONTEXT values to FreeWheel ad server:

      Please note:

      • The  ad server macro placed in the _fw_key_words parameter must be followed by a semicolon (;)
      • The semicolon must not be the last character in the VAST tag

      Passing the IRIS_ID to FreeWheel ad server:
